My family moved from Lebanon to Canada when I was eight years old. Seeing my parents work tirelessly to give us a better life truly inspired me. They started a painting business, taking their first step towards financial freedom in a new country. Growing up, I saw firsthand the ups and downs of running a small business. Their journey was a canvas of their sacrifices and hard work. I often think about how different their path might have been if they had access to the tools, resources, and support that we have at our fingertips today.

Pursuing a degree in business administration further ignited this passion. I learned the ins and outs of marketing and entrepreneurship, which led to a rewarding five-year journey with Shopify supporting both emerging startups and established brands. Now, in the Canadian fintech sector, my dedication to financial empowerment continues to drive me forward.
